Let beauty in!
Rumi said “Beauty is the illumination of your soul”
“The only lasting beauty is the beauty of the hearts”
If we aim to define beauty we can say that is a combination of qualities, such as shape, color, or form, that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight.
The nature of beauty is one of the most fascinating subjects for many artists and philosophers. “Beauty itself is but the sensible image of the infinite” said the historian George Bancroft.
The feeling of beauty might be considered as the awareness and mysterious attraction towards the quality of perfection.
Beauty is a spontaneous state of delight, and ideal heartbeat around life.
Beauty is a positive desire towards perfection.
Beauty represents an extremely nourishing and complex phenomena, even having healing properties. This can be experience in the simplest way when enjoying the beauty of nature, walking in a beautiful place, seeing a beautiful landscape, sunset or a beautiful piece of Art.
Beauty has an infinite configuration and multicolor radiation.
Plato remarked that beauty, harmony, truth, and good are in an unceasing mergence.
Other attempt to define beauty is to appreciate it as splendor veri- the splendor of truth, (for some followers of Plato), as splendor ordis- the splendor of order- (for st. Agustine), as splendor formae – the splendor of shape(for Thomas D’aquino) or something that pleases without a concept (for Kant), as a sensitive embodiment of the idea of truth (for Hegel) as a balance between the sublime, the harmonious and the graceful.
Beauty is the expression of happiness and creates an uplifting sensation. Generates optimism and inspires us to connect.
We find the existence of beauty in multiple places. However there are two main areas where it specially manifests: in nature and in art.
We can say that in art till the first decades of the 20th century beauty was still frequent. After that the concept of beauty started to be more and more rare in an alarming way.
Through my paintings I aim to revive this concept.
Beauty for me, being the main theme in my art, reflect one of the driving forces of life.
Beauty makes us evolve and be in contact with our souls. The non-existence of beauty is making us to stagnate and creates a feeling of loneliness and sadness.
Beauty grants happiness and indirectly reflects the idea of order, truth, balance, evolution and spiritualization.
While painting beautiful shapes, or by contemplating beautiful art we can almost immediately trigger a deep connection with the core, the center of our being.
This article is an open invitation to see, discover or re-discover beauty in ourselves and all around us.
Let beauty in, look for beauty inside and outside your being….
Let yourself be impregnated with the perfection of nature, the warmth of the sun, the beauty of a flower or the beings that you love the most.

See beauty even in the difficult situations in life, because beyond all appearances beauty is always there!
